Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and an encrypted authentication credential through Supabase. When you use watch history and playback sync, we store titles, playback position, timestamps, URLs, and an approximate device/browser label that you provide through your browser.
How we use information
We use this information to sign you in, verify your email, synchronize watch history and playback position, provide premium ad-free access, prevent abuse, and operate the service.
Cookies and local storage
Prism Play uses essential browser storage for authentication state, theme preferences, playback resume time, watch history, premium status, and limited advertisement frequency controls. These technologies are required for the service features you request. Third-party advertising providers may use their own cookies or similar technologies subject to their policies and your applicable consent choices.
Advertising
Free areas of Prism Play may display advertisements from third-party providers. Premium ad-free accounts are excluded from Prism Play ad placements. We do not sell your account password or watch history.
Service providers
We use Supabase for authentication and account data, TMDB and AniList for media information, and Cloudflare for hosting and delivery. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
Your choices
You may clear local or synchronized watch history from your account controls. You may request account deletion by contacting the site administrator. Signing out removes the active account session from the browser.
